Our Daughter baby Aria was born on the 17th of August at 19:19pm.
 
After she was born we raised concerns regarding her breathing but were told she was just cold ,3 hours passed and three separate midwives had told us Aria was ok - after checking her they said that she had some mucus and it would clear.
 
At 10.25pm after being moved out of labour ward into a normal ward the first midwife (Nicola) who came into say hello picked up Aria and ran down the corridor shouting for help taking aria to a doctors room where she was put straight onto oxygen and once stabilised she was put into an incubator on 80% oxygen in intensive care in Falkirk where she stayed for 3 days before being transferred to Glasgow for 6 days providing more specialist care, we were then moved back to Falkirk for 2 days before she was released.
 
If it wasn't for Kirsty and Nicola raising the alarm we believe Aria wouldn't be with us today, We are eternally grateful for the care Aria received so we have named two of the gel polishes after the midwives who saved our baby girl.
